Hank update

Hank the Tank is sure fitting in. His household manners have improved dramatically. He tries so hard to please. He never barks and greats everyone with a wiggle bum. He is a follower, not a leader. He has gained a few pounds and isn't as crazy towards food as he first was. He is not possesive at all with food or treats. Our one cat is very confrontation so Hank just avoids him while the other cat will rub against him. He is going to be hard to let go. I know its the right thing to do but he is so well behaved.

Tank Progress

Well, Tank is sure fitting in. Not a mean bone in his body. A visiting Beagle stole a bone right out of his mouth. His farm dog past comes out in the form of him counter surfing and grabbing stuff of opportunity. Never destructive, but he will finish all the peanuts for you. Then he is really remorseful, big sad eyes, head hanging low.

So after trying out the new name Hank, I'm back to Tank. He's a Tank. Not for his size, but for his actions. He will walk through anything. He is so muscular that he just doesn't notice little things like coffee tables, chairs, chesterfields. He is such a sweet boy with such a gentle sensitive nature that it's going to be really hard to let him go. His previous family should be really proud of what a good boy they raised.

This is Tank. An 18 month old Rotti/Lab. Great with all other animals and kids. Neutered, all of his shots, loves car rides, can be left alone in the house, takes treats gently, is laid back, and obviously likes to lounge.

Milo's Surgery

Southglen vet. Wed Dec 19th . Drop off 0730hrs to 0830hrs. No food or water after 2000hrs the night before.

Got to meet some firemen and the neighbors, while we were visiting. It was all a false alarm but practice for Milo. He didn't say boo.

Woke up at 3am to find Milo cuddling on the bed. His stealth is amazing. Then this morning he wakes me up with the cold nose prod.  And when he sees movement....lick,lick,lick. It's impossible to be grumpy with Mr. Happydog.

Sunday evening. Spent most of the day outside. He is so happy in the snow and outdoors. Shows some minor possessive-ness, other than that, perfect so far. Now bedding down with a bone.
